The Fundy Leader is a 100' fishing vessel currently fishing silver hake off the coast of Nova Scotia. The vessel and its skilled crew have been able to bring silver hake back to port on a regular basis while ensuring the product was of the highest quality possible in the fresh market.

To achieve our goal of landing the highest quality silver hake, the Fundy Leader is equipped with a conveyor system to get the fish into the fish hold and out of the elements very quickly. The conveyor system also limits the amount of handling required. The vessel also is equipped with an onboard slurry ice system and two refrigeration units in its fish hold to maximize the freshness of the product to market.
